Trained at McGill University, Caroline has worked with adults with communication and swallowing disorders in Ontario, British Columbia and the USA. Since 2015, her practice has focused on assessment and treatment of people who stutter (PWS), both adults and children. She is passionate about helping those who stutter “find their voice.” Being based at the Interprofessional Clinic provides the opportunity to work in both French and English as well as supervise graduate students interested in fluency disorders. Caroline is involved in research in stuttering through the University of Ottawa, and participates in the wider world of stuttering, having presented at conferences of both the Canadian Association of Stuttering and l’Association Bégaiement Communication. A focus of both groups is increasing public awareness about the nature of the disorder, in order to reduce stigma.
